Anna serves as a paralegal in support of several of Gutwein Law's practice areas, primarily focusing on estate planning. She brings to her role more than three years of experience in real estate law. She previously worked for a regional firm in the role of title specialist. Her work included creating title reports in support of mortgage foreclosures across a six-state area.

Prior to a career switch to law, she worked for more than 15 years in print media, working as a journalist, writer and editor. She held various reporting positions at newspapers and small publications in Illinois and Indiana. In her first job as an education reporter in Illinois, she won a writing award from the Illinois Press Association for her coverage of a local public school system.

Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University in Professional Writing, minoring in Communications. She got her start in writing and reporting at the campus newspaper, The Exponent, where she was a features reporter.

When she's not working, she can typically be found with her nose in a book. She usually has at least one novel going, and a never-ending and ever growing To Be Read pile. She is also involved with ballroom and partnership dance in Indianapolis and recently started taking classes in the fine arts. Her household is run by three cats, Chip, Luna and Cleopatra. She lives in Johnson County, near the southside where she grew up and regularly spends time with her family, her parents and sister, who also live in the area.
